Still plenty of tears at AMP, after the resignation last week of their boss Paul Batchelor.
 

He really turned that company around, Paul Batchelor, especially the way he managed to get the share price right down to make it affordable for Mums and Dads investors.
 
If ever a CEO deserved a massive golden parachute, it’s Paul Batchelor. The Financial Review’s saying he may only get a $7 million pay out. I hope that’s wrong.

Paul Batchelor made AMP what it is today. He was right across all facets of the business.
 
There’s plenty of other former executives out there who weren’t so lucky: Jodee Rich, Rodney Adler, the list goes on and on.

They’re bankrupt and have nothing to live on — apart from the few millions they’ve transferred into their wives’ names. It’s just appalling.

Well thank god that someone’s recognised their plight… with the wonderful work being done by Di Stewart — wife of the ChaserCorp boss David Stewart. She’s set up a charity dedicated to raising money for a very worthy cause.
