WASHINGTON - US President Bush has upgraded the country’s terror warning from code orange to code purple.

It’s the fourth time today President Bush has changed the colour of the alert. As the day unfolds, other code alerts have been reached:

• Code Yellow means don’t answer the door to anyone, take the safety off your firearms, and most importantly, conserve oxygen.
• Code Red is high level government scare mongering. Designed to make people feel less secure, so they support an attack on Iraq.
