Crean: 'I've got what it takes'

WOLLONGONG - Federal Opposition Leader Simon Crean has insisted he has got what it takes to lose the next federal election.

Following Labor's defeat in the Cunningham by-election, Mr Crean told the gathered media: "I've got what it takes, I've got exactly what it takes. I know that, and I will be fighting every day between now and the next election to demonstrate it and to present it."

Mr Crean said his battle to lose the next election “starts from today”.
