LOS ANGELES - An American policeman has been disciplined after calling a hasty press conference to display his new hat, without even talking it out of its bag.

Hat shy
  Although rather fetching, the attempt at concealing his new hat, this police officer copped more than he thought.
  

The officer has been suspended until further notice.
